Vanessa Hudgens Sends Birthday Message To Angels Player Cole Tucker

35-year-old Vanessa Hudgens shouted out her husband, Anaheim Angels third baseman, Cole Tucker on his 28th birthday, sharing an array of photos on Instagram to her 50+ million followers.

"Happy birthday to my slice of heaven @cotuck," the actress wrote. "You make the world a brighter place just by being you."

Notably, the couple got married at the end of last year, and are now expecting their first child together. The High School Musical actress and Angels prospect supposedly actually met on a Zoom meditation group during the COVID-quarantine era, where the Hollywood star slid in the baseball player's DM's.

"I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, 'Hey, it was nice to meet you,'" Hudgens said while on The Drew Barrymore Show a few years back.

Tucker has been winning off the field, however, he hasn't had the most success this season, batting .180 in the big leagues, the Phoenix native has spent the majority of the year playing for the Angels' Triple-A team, the Salt Lake Bees. Furthermore, he was just placed on the inactive list, for unknown reasons.

Tucker was a first round selection (24th pick) in the 2014 MLB draft and has played most of his career in the minors battling injuries. All in all, he was called up to the majors during the 2019 season, right before he met his movie star wife. That is, Tucker appeared in games across four seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

From 2019-2024, Tucker appeared in 183 MLB games, and has a career .213 batting average, with five home runs, 40 RBI's, and 56 runs.
