6-foot-8 Heavyweight MMA Fighter Gets Taken Down By 5-foot-3 Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt

In a modern day version of David vs. Goliath, a 5-foot-3 Jiu-Jitsu black belt fighter went head-to-head with a 6-foot-8 heavyweight, as featured at the Dogfight Wild Tournament (DWT).

MMA fans were able to see an intense battle of size & power vs. skill & agility, as both fighters went into the cage to fight it out until one was crowned the winner.

Right out of the gate, it seemed like the little guy didn't stand a chance, as the giant was able to utilize his long reach and leverage his strength. Nevertheless, the black belt fighter showed determination never backing down, and despite taking multiple blows to his small frame, he stayed in there.

While counter-attacking, the unthinkable happened, as the smaller fighter was actually able to take down the bigger opponent in spite of the huge weight difference.

Undoubtedly, the Jiu-Jitsu fighter had the advantage on the ground game despite his lack in size, since he was able to take control by utilizing technique.

In what was a surprise to many fans, the five-foot-tall Jiu-Jitsu black belt claimed victory after getting an armbar submission. The underdog story has since gone viral, as many have criticized the 6-foot-8 guy's inability to knockout the fighter who was half of his size.

This is a testament that fighting takes skill, talent, and resiliency, as being big in stature is useless if one doesn't know how to employ their strength and power.
