Dana White dropped the news during halftime of the Kansas City Chiefs-Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving matchup on CBS. He also went live on Instagram to share the details about this first event on the subscription streaming service.
UFC 324 will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Jan. 24, 2026. The main event will pit Justin Gaethje against Paddy Pimblett as they try to secure a matchup against current lightweight champion Ilia Topuria. The winner of Gaethje-Pimblett will become the interim lightweight champion.
Topuria announced on Thursday that he will not fight in the first quarter of 2026 as he deals with a personal family matter. He said that as soon as the matter is resolved, he will inform the UFC of his pending return.

The co-main event will deliver just as many fireworks in Las Vegas as bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison defends her title against former champion Amanda Nunes. This will mark the first time since 2023 that Nunes will come out of retirement to fight.
The rest of the lineup will feature some prominent names squaring off in the Octagon. Sean O'Malley will meet Song Yadong in a bantamweight bout. Former champions Alexa Grasso and Rose Namajunas will face off in a flyweight fight.
The main card will also feature heavyweights Derrick "The Black Beast" Lewis and Waldo Cortes Acosta; featherweights Arnold Allen and Jean Silva; and Umar Nurmagomedov vs Deiveson Figueiredo.
Additionally, White revealed the main event of UFC 325, which will take place on Jan. 31, 2026. This event will head to Sydney Olympic Park in Australia and will feature featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski defending his belt against Diego Lopes.

This move to Paramount+ is one that White revealed back in August. He released a statement announcing a seven-year deal that would see all events moving to the CBS platform. This move marked the end of the pay-per-view model as all events will be available to those who subscribe to Paramount+.
"This historic deal with Paramount and CBS is incredible for UFC fans and our athletes," White said in an August statement. "For the first time ever, fans in the US will have access to all UFC content without a Pay-Per-View model, making it more affordable and accessible to view the greatest fights on a massive platform.
"This deal puts UFC amongst the biggest sports in the world. The exposure provided by the Paramount and CBS networks under this new structure is a huge win for our athletes and anyone who watches and loves this sport."
