Allan Nascimento, a UFC fighter in the flyweight division, has suddenly passed away. He was 34.

The promotion announced the news with a post on social media. The UFC listed the cause of death as an apparent heart attack.
"This morning, Monday, August 3rd, our beloved flyweight fighter, Allan Nascimento, was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep," the post from Monday said. "Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan's family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time."

Several former and active UFC fighters offered their condolences on social media after hearing the news of Nascimento's passing. This included Dustin Poirier, Henry Cejudo, Diego Lopes, and Tyron Woodley among others.
"Today, I lost a brother," fellow fighter Charles Oliveira wrote on his Instagram Stories. "Thank you for always being there, for sharing the mat, the track, for the words.
"I only have gratitude for having you by my side, brother, in training, in battles, and in our conversations. I love you, kid, you were awesome."
Nascimento, a Sao Paulo native, posted a 22-6 record during his professional career while fighting in different promotions. He kicked off his professional career with a win over Thiago Silva in 2011. He scored the submission via triangle choke.
Nascimento won his first seven professional bout before fighting for the Legacy Fighting Championship belt. He lost to Will Campuzano by unanimous decision.
The Brazilian fighter continued working through the professional ranks while defeating several fighters across multiple promotions. He then made his UFC debut in 2021 with a bout against Tagir Ulanbekov. He lost by split decision.
Nascimento scored UFC wins over Jake Hadley, Carlos Hernandez, Jafel Filho, and Cody Durden. His last fight took place in June 2026. He lost to Mitch Raposo by split decision.
