Six motocross icons joined forces on Saturday night. They headed out onto the White House lawn, and they performed an elaborate and historic stunt.

Travis Pastrana, Brian Deegan, Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg, and Keith Sayers donned matching protective gear. They then climbed aboard their respective rides and launched off of ramps situated on the White House lawn.
These riders each hit a different jump under the blue skies. Sayers went first as he did a backflip. Twitch followed him as he broke out a different trick. The stunt train then continued with McGrath, Deegan, and then Carmichael.

Pastrana went last. He hit the ramp and pulled off a historic backlip over the White House lawn. He only kept one hand on the handlebars as he used the other to point at something out of the camera frame.
This historic stunt capped off what had been a wild stretch of time for Pastrana. He had worked with UFC CEO Dana White to get approval for this stunt on the lawn ahead of Saturday night's UFC Freedom 250, the first-ever MMA event at the White House. He then recruited some icons of the sport so that he did not jump alone.

"I mean, dirt bikes have taken me all over the world," Pastrana told Complex Sports on Saturday. "I grew up 16 miles from (Washington, D.C.), just outside of Annapolis.
"I have a chance to now ride my motorcycle with some of the legends of the sport on the nation's capital here in D.C. at the White House."
Of course, these motocross stars did not simply head to Washington, D.C. and hit the jumps on the lawn. They practiced for what would assuredly be one of the wildest things they had ever done.
This is the type of event where the participants had to perfectly nail every aspect of the stunt.
Carmichael, in particular, stopped by Pastranaland in Maryland. He and Pastrana then hit some jumps at about 6 a.m. before heading to the UFC Freedom 250 festivities. They then pulled off something truly memorable.
