Courtney Force's Funny Car burst into flames and exploded during qualifying for the NHRA New England Nationals — and she walked away with a minor injury.

Fox Sports reported that she suffered a minor injury to her left hand — and that's miraculous considering the nature of the explosion.
Force, a driver for the Advanced Auto team, said, in a humorous tweet:
Didn't expect to be driving TeamChevy convertible at 330mph after my fuel line burst. But we stayed #1 qualifier for @AdvancedAuto team!
She also gave a shout-out for safety:
Thanks to all the safety on these race cars I walked away from that explosion. Huge thanks to NHRA safety safari for being there quick too!
