Jamie Foxx Serenades Serena Williams in Hilarious ESPYs Flashback

Jamie Foxx is one of the most talented entertainers of all time. There's nothing he can't do. Watching him do his thing is always a good time, and he proved that once again when he hosted the ESPY Awards.

In 2003 and 2004, Foxx lit up the stage at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre as the host of the famous ESPYs on ESPN. It's the Super Bowl of sports award shows, and Foxx dazzled from start to finish both times.

There were countless moments of greatness, but absolutely nothing compares to him serenading tennis player Serena Williams.

Whether it's Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, or any other major tennis event, Serena Williams has always thrived under pressure. She never seems to get nervous. However, that changed when ESPYs host Jamie Foxx sang a song about her on national television.

Foxx, whose real name is Eric Bishop, wanted the world to know about his crush on the tennis superstar. So he decided to perform his new song, "Can I Be Your Tennis Ball?"

Everyone went wild. The lyrics, which were very forward and even featured a line talking about Beyonce and Jay-Z, had the Los Angeles audience rolling and Williams blushing. It was a classic moment and if social media had been around, it would have been trending for a very long time.

Then, the following year at the 12th Annual ESPY Awards, Foxx took it up another notch. He brought in back-up singers, rode around on stage in a giant tennis ball, and even had Williams join him on stage for the finale.

Family friendly? Not exactly, but it was pure gold.

"Jamie Foxx is hilarious. He's a great guy, and he's a great character and a great spirit. I think he's just an amazing actor. He's just a great person, and I've had the opportunity to hang out with him away from everything. I love Jamie," Williams said, via the Chicago Tribune. "Jamie's great and maybe a little bit of it needs to be edited, but it doesn't matter to me. I know him, and I know what's in his heart."

While everyone tuned in to watch awards for the NBA, NFL, and MLB, they all got a special treat and a song millions had to Google over the years. Foxx was the champ of the night and at shooting his shot.

Good luck getting "Can I Be Your Tennis Ball?" out of your head, too.
