Vonn, a Burnsville, Minnesota native, rose to prominence after making her Olympic debut at the 2002 Winter games in Salt Lake City. She failed to medal in Utah and at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin because of an injury, but it was in 2008 that she hit her stride.
From 2008 to 2010, Vonn won three overall skiing World Cup titles and took home the gold medal in the women's downhill competition at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Her career had its ups and downs after her peak, but she added another overall World Cup title in 2012. Vonn competed in her final Olympic games in 2018 in Pyeongchang, where she won the bronze medal in the downhill.
When she called it quits in 2019, Vonn retired as one of the most decorated skiers of all time. She finished with three total Olympic medals, eight World Championship medals and four World Cup titles to her name.
Vonn entered the pop culture lexicon due to her abilities on the slopes. She stayed there because of her high-profile dating history. The champion skier has been in relationships with several famous athletes alike, but who is she dating now?
Lindsey Vonn's Boyfriend Diego Osorio
Lindsey Vonn is currently dating spirit mogul Diego Osorio. Osorio hails from Madrid, Spain and is the founder of Lobos 1707, a premium tequila and mezcal brand. The company has several big name backers such as NBA stars LeBron James and Draymond Green, and Osorio currently serves as the Chief Creative Officer. Aside from his liquor business, Osorio has also dabbled in acting.
According to People, the two met through mutual friends and spent the first few months of their relationship getting to know each other. Their dating status was deemed official when they were spotted holding hands while attending Dr. Dre's Super Bowl LVI party.
Vonn and Osorio's relationship is still fresh. Her previous relationship ended only five months before her new one began.
Lindsey Vonn's Past Relationships
P.K. Subban
Before Osorio, Vonn was set to marry hockey player P.K. Subban. The two started dating in early 2018 and got engaged by the end of 2019. Even though the couple was already scheduled to tie the knot, Vonn flipped the script on its head and proposed to the NHL player, who now plays for the New Jersey Devils, a few months later.
"Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!!" she captioned in a since-deleted Instagram post. "On our 2 year anniversary I returned the favor and asked PK to marry me... and he said yes. We talk about equality but actions speak louder than words. Men should get engagement rings too and this is what PK deserves. Can't wait to marry you babe."
However, a year later the couple decided to amicably end their relationship after quarantining together during the thick of the coronavirus pandemic. The two had nothing but kind things to say about each other, per PEOPLE.
Tiger Woods

Vonn's most star-studded pairing was with Tiger Woods. The skier and golfer met in 2012 after her brother was Woods' children's ski instructor. They started dating quickly after and were a couple for nearly three years before breaking up in 2015.
Vonn cited their hectic lifestyles as the main reason for the split.
Thomas Vonn
The 2002 Salt Lake City games weren't only significant because it was Vonn's Olympic debut. They were also significant because the three-time Olympian met her ex-husband there, fellow Olympic skier Thomas Vonn.
Then Lindsey Kildow, the gold medalist quickly hit it off with Vonn and the two exchanged vows at the base of a Utah mountain in 2007. Vonn retired from competitive skiing shortly after they started dating and turned his attention towards coaching Lindsey. Four years after saying "I do," they filed for divorce.
"It is with great sadness that I announce that Thomas and I have begun divorce proceedings," Lindsey said in a statement, per The New York Times. "This is an extremely difficult time in my personal life, and I hope the media and my fans can respect my need for privacy on this matter. I will continue to be coached by the U.S. Ski Team and look forward to competing the rest of the season."
It's unclear the exact reasons why they broke up, although the same New York Times article mentions Lindsey's involvement with Thomas caused a rift in her relationship with her father.
Lindsey Vonn is the only skier who's as recognizable as any other sports star. From Los Angeles to Las Vegas to Vancouver to New York City to Beijing, Vonn is known for transcending skiing. We'll keep an eye on how her first major relationship with a non athlete develops.
