Jeopardy Contestant Mistakes Russell Westbrook For Kevin Durant

Some of the smartest people are on the show 'Jeopardy,' yet often times the contestants are known for not being able to answer the sports questions, which is ever so daunting for the "smart" people. Being able to answer every question about physics, history, geography... but then when it comes time to address the sports category (which is usually saved for last), there is always a lot of silence. This was the case on one of this week's episodes, when host Ken Jennings asked the three competitors a question under the "21st Century Sports" category.

There was one question left on the board, and it was worth $1,000. So everyone watching maybe was expecting a super hard one, until the show popped up on the screen a picture of an NBA player, which all they had to do was identify.

"Then with Oklahoma City, this master of the triple double became the first back to back MVP of the NBA All-Star Game since the 1950's.

The contestant named Adriana, who was leading the group, buzzed in and answered, "'Who' is Durant."

Jennings replied, "Sorry, no. 'Who' is his teammate Russell Westbrook."

As almost everyone knows, Durant and Westbrook played with each other for eight seasons on the Thunder, and made it to the 2012 NBA Finals together, before Durant left to go the Golden State Warriors ahead of the 2016-17 season.

This wasn't the only sports question missed, as they also mistook the Chicago Cubs for the Philadelphia Phillies when asked a baseball question.

Almost every average person was probably screaming at the TV, because these were the easiest ones on the night. Then again, maybe knowing these kinds of questions makes you a "sports nerd."
