Joe Johnson has proven in recent years he's still capable of making big shots in the playoffs, and he could soon be available for a playoff contender.

Johnson was traded from the Utah Jazz to the Sacramento Kings in a three-team deal involving the Cleveland Cavaliers, and since the Kings aren't in position to contend for a playoff spot, they are expected to buy out Johnson's contract.
Johnson is on the last year of his deal, and Yahoo Sports reporter Chris Mannix reported that both the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics are among the favorites to land Johnson.

Johnson, 36, has made the All-Star team seven times during his career, and he has still been effective off the bench as a scorer for the Jazz.
While Johnson has only averaged 7.3 points per game this year for the Jazz, he averaged nearly 13 points per game in the playoffs last year.
Both the Warriors and the Celtics are looking to bolster their benches as the postseason approaches, and Johnson would be a solid addition for either squad. There will likely be several teams interested in signing him, but those two will likely be the frontrunners. Johnson was drafted by the Celtics out of Arkansas in 2001, and the team traded him to the Phoenix Suns in 2002.
