The Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly traded Kyrie Irving

They pulled the trigger!

The Cleveland Cavaliers were reportedly "engaged in serious trade talks" with the Boston Celtics for Isaiah Thomas and to deal Kyrie Irving for him. Shams Charania of The Vertical was the first to report it and it looks like it is happening now.

The reported deal includes Thomas, Ante Zizic, and Jae Crowder, as well as the 2018 Brooklyn Nets pick in exchange for Irving.

Irving has reportedly wanted out of Cleveland all summer as his relationship with LeBron James has seemingly deteriorated and what better place is there to go than Boston? The Celtics have hoarded assets and great players that are one piece away from being a championship contender, which Irving would give them.

This post will be updated as more details on the trade are made official.
