The Los Angeles wildfires have brought devastation to many, as more than 100,000 people had to evacuate their homes in the LA area since the fires began blazing last week.

And one of those victims is Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who says he and his family had to evacuate their $23 million Brentwood mansion last week, due to the Palisades fires.

"I have a couple of dear friends that have lost their homes in the Palisades," he said. "Obviously, my heart goes out to all of the families, all across not only the Palisades, but all across L.A. County and all the surrounding areas because of the fire."

LeBron continued, "Personally, my family, we've been evacuated since Thursday night, so I've been in a hotel since pretty much when we got back from Dallas. So, just figuring it out. But staying strong for one another. Obviously, that's most important."

After the Lakers' road trip they were scheduled for eight consecutive games in Los Angeles, in which they postponed the first two home games (vs. Charlotte Hornets, San Antonio Spurs).
Following a loss to the Spurs (102-126) and a win vs. the Heat (117-108) at Crypto.com Arena, the Lakers are scheduled to play Friday, January 17 (7:30 pm PT) vs. the Brooklyn Nets.
Then the next game will be an away game in LA vs. the Clippers at the Intuit Dome on Sunday, January 19; 6:00 pm PT.
