"Due to a potential New York Knicks NBA Finals Game, the Rosalia performance originally scheduled to take place at The Garden on Tue., June 16, has been rescheduled to Thu., June 18," the Madison Square Garden X account posted on Thursday.

"Tickets will be valid for the new show date and will not need to be exchanged."

A scheduling conflict with the Rosalia concert is not yet secure. The NBA Finals could be over before June 16. However, changing the concert schedule avoids having to make any last-second moves if the series goes more than five games.

Game 1 of the NBA Finals will take place on Wednesday, June 3. Game 2 will take place on June 5, Game 3 will be on June 8, Game 4 will be on June 10, and Game 5 will be on June 13.

If necessary, Game 6 will be on June 16, the original scheduled date of the concert. Game 7 will be on June 19.

This is a relatively surprising development for the Big Apple considering that the New York Knicks have not reached the NBA Finals since the end of the 1998-1999 season. They lost to the San Antonio Spurs in a five-game series as Tim Duncan won NBA Finals MVP.

The New York Knicks are the first team to lock up a spot in the NBA Finals. The Eastern Conference team achieved this by defeating the Atlanta Hawks in the opening round, the Philadelphia 76ers in the semifinals, and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the finals.

The final teams remaining in the Western Conference are the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs, who are currently tied with three wins each. They will face off in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday night.
