Pistons’ Malik Beasley Mistakenly Thought Live Stream Ended, Caught Saying: ‘Spark That B**** Up, I’m Ready To Get High Now’

Detroit Pistons shooting guard Malik Beasley recently appeared on famous streamer N3on's live show Wednesday night, but may now be in hot water for comments he made when it was ending.

That is, after N3on was saying goodbye to all of his viewers, Malik apparently thought the stream was over as he was caught in 4k saying, "Spark that b**** up, I'm ready to get high now."

Almost immediately Beasley realized the cameras were still rolling, as he put his hands over his mouth in shock.

Many fans reacted to this, as some pointed out that Beasley may get suspended or lose himself some money.

However, it's important to note that the NBA recently changed their laws regarding marijuana use, as per their new seven-year collective bargaining agreement (July 1, 2023), the league no longer tests players nor penalizes them for personal use of cannabis.

Nevertheless, it may not be a great look for the 28-year-old catch-and-shoot sharpshooter.

To note, earlier in the stream N3on had asked Beasley a question regarding this same topic, "Is it the same thing like when you drop the blunt?"

In which Beasley replied: "I wouldn't know."

Then when asking him if he was married, Beasley attempted to change the subject.

This may be due to the fact that his wife, Montana Yao, who he shares two kids with (5 years old & 2 year old), recently just unfollowed him on Instagram and deleted all their pictures together.

For those who don't know, Beasley has previously been caught lacking, as he was seen in public dating Larsa Pippen (ex-wife of Scottie Pippen) around 2020-21. That is, his wife Yao found out about the infidelity, when a paparazzi picture of them holding hands in Miami was posted online.

Notably, controversy is nothing new to Beasley, as he and his wife previously faced felony drug possession charges in late-2020, when police found 835 grams of weed in their house.

That is to say, Beasley, a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves at the time, was suspended 12 games without pay after also pleading guilty to a felony charge of "threatening to commit a crime of violence."

Now in his ninth season in the NBA, playing on a one-year/$6 million dollar contract with the Pistons, Beasley is currently averaging 16.5 points (43.8% FG; 41.8% 3PT) per game, while leading the league in catch-and-shoot points.
