Adrian Peterson is a 32-year old free agent running back in desperate need of a team to sign him. He's coming off a fairly serious knee injury, but he also came back from an ACL tear and led the league in rushing going for over 2,000 yards the very next season. Now he's working out with former Heisman winner and up-and-coming quarterback Jameis Winston.

After a social media post showed Peterson and Winston working out together, Bucs coach Dirk Koeetter said he's curious to hear a scouting report.
"I've seen Adrian Peterson many times playing and that guy is one of the best running backs to ever play," Koetter said, via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. "I'm anxious to talk to Jameis and ask him how his workouts went. That caught me off guard. I didn't know that. I'll be honest with you, first thing I thought when I saw that was Jamies is just an amazing guy. The guy is everywhere."
The Bucs could have a three-week tryout window for Peterson with Doug Martin set to serve a three-game suspension to start the season. He only appeared in eight games last season and the Bucs' running back situation was a mess so this could be the opportunity Peterson is looking for in free agency assuming they don't take another running back in the upcoming NFL Draft.
