In addition to Harbaugh heading to the NFL, his National Championship-winning quarterback JJ McCarthy is also headed to the NFL and the now Los Angeles Chargers head coach is making claims about where he'll go in the draft.

Appearing on the Herd with Colin Cowherd show, Cowherd asked Harbaugh about McCarthy and what he brings, saying "what does he bring to the table that maybe I can't see as a TV viewer?"
Harbaugh wasted no time saying, "Arm talent, athleticism, it-factor, winning with numbing repetition."
Then, Harbaugh dropped a bomb saying, "Don't be surprised if/when... he's the first quarterback off the board. That's my prediction right now."Needless to say, fans on X had a field day with coaches comments. Of course, he's hyping up his former quarterback who's in a class with Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Bo Nix, Jayden Daniels, Michael Penix Jr., and more.

"Prove it and trade Herbert for the 8th pick the falcons hold," one fan said.

"What a difference a few words make.
If he would have said "one of the top picks on the board" or even "top 3", he wouldn't be giving away the blatant coach speak.
Great for clicks, though," another user wrote.

"He's trying to get JJ drafted early so Daniels is available at #5 and someone trades a haul of picks to the Chargers to select him
Chess not checkers," someone else wrote.
This past season at Michigan, McCarthy completed 240 of 332 passes (72.3%) for 2,991 yards, 22 touchdowns, and four interceptions.
In his career at Michigan, he played 40 games, completing 482 passes on 713 attempts (67.6%) for 6,226 yards, 49 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
Now, we look to see if Harbaugh's prediction comes true and where McCarthy ends up in the NFL.
