According to a press release, the Ravens will host Monster Energy Supercross as the series makes its first-ever trip to Baltimore. This will mark Round 13 of the 17-race Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship season, as well as the end of a 44-year absence from the Washington metropolitan area.

The last time a Supercross race took place in the area was 1983. AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame member David Bailey won the race, which took place at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.

The crossover will happen on April 10, 2027. This one-day event will begin at 8 a.m. ET with practice and qualifying. The Fan Fest will run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. ET. The opening ceremonies will take place at 2:30 p.m. ET and then the racing will begin at 3 p.m. ET.

High-level motorcycle racing has a rich history in the Washington metropolitan area (DMV), even if it has remained absent for several decades. The AMA Arenacross Series previously made annual visits to CFG Bank Arena in downtown Baltimore.

A Maryland native will play a significant role in the return of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.

Motorsports icon Travis Pastrana will design the course inside of M&T Bank Stadium, and he will add in obstacles to challenge the top names in the sport. He will also serve as the grand marshal for the race.

The 17-race Supercross season will run from January to May with teams visiting 16 cities across 13 states. This season will begin at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. It will end at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Some of the other cities are San Diego, California; San Antonio, Texas; Tampa, Florida; Glendale, Arizona; Detroit, Michigan; Daytona Beach, Florida; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Denver, Colorado.
