ESPN's Adam Schefter posted a video Saturday night that showed heavy snowfall at Highmark Stadium. The video, taken from the upper grandstands, barely showed the field due to the amount of snow. The playing surface was completely covered.
A look tonight at Buffalo, which is hosting the Sunday night game vs. the 49ers:

According to the forecast, the whiteout conditions are likely to remain. There is a lake effect snow warning in place, which runs through 7 p.m. ET on Monday. There is a potential for snow accumulations of one to two feet while visibility will fall below a quarter-mile.
WeatherUnderground also calls for snow showers starting at 9 p.m. ET, which is just after kickoff.
The Buffalo Bills were prepared for the heavy snowfall. The AFC East team put out the call on social media early in the week and asked volunteers to sign up for duty. As another video showed, many responded.
Snow removal crews worked hard during Saturday night's whiteout conditions to clear the stadium. Volunteers shoveled the grandstands and cleared off seats while backhoes, tractors, and other vehicles worked down on the playing surface. Heavy trucks drove away with beds full of snow.
The Bills are quite familiar with playing in whiteout conditions. The team has done so multiple times throughout its history. This is a side effect of playing outdoors in Western New York.
One recent example was last season's wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Josh Allen accounted for four touchdowns while the defense intercepted one Mason Rudolph pass. The Bills won 31-17.
Sunday night's game against the 49ers has less at stake considering that the teams play in different conferences. However, the Bills are 9-2 and in control of the AFC's No. 2 seed.
The Bills are one game back of the Chiefs, who moved to 11-1 on Friday with a wild win over the Raiders. The Chiefs also became the first AFC team to clinch a spot in the playoffs.
