Yet another suspension handed down to Dallas Cowboys

Yikes.

While the NFL continues dragging its feet on a possible Ezekiel Elliott suspension stemming from multiple off-field incidents, the league handed down a two-game suspension to defensive end Damontre Moore on Friday:

Moore was a third-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.

He's played in 42 games over his career, with 10.0 sacks, 52 tackles and two forced fumbles.

Elliott is currently facing a potential suspension from the NFL due to a previous domestic violence investigation. Elliott has not been charged in that incident, but it is believed that he will be suspended following the NFL's own investigation into the matter.

The Cowboys have been beset with suspension news this offseason. Randy Gregory, the oft troubled pass rusher, has been suspended for the 2017 season, and could face a career ban as the result of at least six failed drug tests. Wide receiver Shaquelle Evans has been suspended for the first four game or violating the league's substance abuse policy. In 2016, the situation was so bad the Cowboys faced a $250,000 fine because they had three players — Gregory, Rolando McClain and DeMarcus Lawrence — suspended for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
