Earlier on Friday, Adam Schefter reported that Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott could be facing a suspension stemming from a domestic violence incident from last season.

However, according to Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, the Cowboys' organization is reportedly unaware of any impending suspension for Elliott.
According to Schefter, the NFL hasn't concluded its investigation yet, but he reported that a "short suspension" is likely best on the league's findings.
But if the team hasn't been made aware of anything, it's unlikely Elliott has been made aware, either. The NFL has taken a long time with this investigation, and it's still unclear whether Elliott will be suspended or not. If he is suspended, he will likely appeal.
For now, it looks as if Ezekiel Elliott will be suiting up when the Cowboys take on the New York Giants to start the season on Sept. 10. But that can change in a moment's notice.
