Mike Macdonald Credits Seahawks Leaders

The Seattle Seahawks got off to a scorching start in the 2024 season. They were one of just four teams to start the year 3-0. Since their hot start, the Seahawks have come down to earth a bit, but their 8-5 record still has them on top of the NFC West.

But in a division where the Seahawks, Rams, Cardinals, and 49ers are all separated by less than two games, no team can afford any missteps. A win or loss could be the difference between making the playoffs or being on the outside looking in.

Ahead of their matchup with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald credited the team leaders fo helping them get to this point.

"Our leaders deserve a lot of credit," Macdonald said.

"Man, we love our guys, and I think they've done a great job of staying steadfast in what we're trying to create. I think you just need to be consistent. We weren't getting the results that we wanted, but I felt like the guys believed in the things we were trying to get done, and it felt like there was progress going on. So, those types of things, that kept everybody together. But our players deserve a lot of credit for keeping the faith and staying poised and staying together, and that's why we love them."
