Hall of Fame trash talker Steve Smith takes one last, glorious, parting shot as he retires from the NFL Youtube screen shot

Steve Smith is retiring after a 16-year NFL career during which he was one of the most productive receivers of all-time. And, the braggadocios Smith announced his intentions in the most Steve Smith way imaginable.

Smith’s trash talking skills are as famous — or infamous — as his receiving skills. Here are just a few examples of some of his gems:

Smith finishes his 16-year career with 14,731 received yards, which is No. 7 all-time, and 1,031 receptions, which ranks No. 12 all-time. It sure looks like a Hall of Fame career for the Hall of Fame trash talker.
