Here's the text message Dak Prescott says Tony Romo sent him after getting injured

No wonder he started out so well.

After reserved quarterback Kellen Moore was injured at practice and Tony Romo fractured his back, wide-eyed rookie Dak Prescott was thrust into the spotlight.

Before his first start, Romo reportedly sent Prescott a text message of encouragement, as shared on Inside the Huddle (H/T The Spun):

"You got Tony, he's texting me like 'I believe in you. You're the type of guy I pull for.' So it just makes me feel comfortable," Prescott said. "Just to go each and every day and be myself."

Prescott went on to lose his first game against the New York Giants before leading the Cowboys to an 11-game win streak, ending the year as one of the hottest teams in the NFC.
