Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is one the smoothest athletes in the NFL. Everything he does, whether it's carrying the football or throwing it, looks effortless. It has been since he began dominating the league in 2022.
After taking the Eagles to Super Bowl LVII against the Kansas City Chiefs, he looks primed for another deep postseason run and a potential MVP award in 2023 as Philly is 10-1. There is no slowing down anything Hurts does, including the infamous "Tush Push."
Naturally, it's fair to wonder who one of the faces of the NFL is dating and who is in his personal life. For Hurts, he comes from a supportive family and found the love of his life while he was playing at Alabama.
Hurts Comes From a Football Family
Like anyone who's ever slung the rock in Texas, Jalen comes from a football-loving family.
He was born Jalen Alexander Hurts to Pamela Hurts and Averion Hurts. He has one older brother, also named Averion, and a younger sister named Kynnedy Hurts. Jalen's dad was his football coach in high school.
Averion Jr. played quarterback at Texas Southern University and is a high school football coach in the Houston area like his dad.
Relationship Timeline With Bry Burrows
Hurts keeps his private life on the down low. He doesn't post much other than football-related content on social media, so it's not easy to know who he's been dating, if anyone. However, when the 2016 SEC Offensive Player of the Year wasn't throwing touchdowns at Alabama, he was spending his time with his girlfriend Bryonna Burrows, former Vice President of Alabama's MBA Association and a member of Alabama's national award-winning MBA Case Team.
Bryonna Rivera Burrows was very plugged in at the University of Alabama, taking part in various student organizations and earning two bachelor's degrees in Spanish and political science. She went on to earn her master's degree in business administration immediately after graduation.
The couple's relationship status reportedly changed to "terminated" when Hurts transferred to Oklahoma to finish his college career. As for Bry Burrows, she currently works as an AI partner for IBM, according to her LinkedIn.
While Hurts was balling on the field in 2022 on his way to Super Bowl LVII, Hurts found his way back to Burrows. The two already have a strong relationship foundation, so it appears the sky's the limit.
Both of them stepped out on the red carpet in October 2023 for the Time100 Next Gala in New York City. It marked a rare appearance for Burrows, who clearly prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
One thing seems certain: with Burrows by his side supporting him, Jalen Hurts can conquer anything.
