Jameis Winston may have just locked up a roster spot with the Cleveland Browns and it has absolutely nothing to do with his play on the field but rather an epic speech.

Over the years, the former No. 1 overall pick in 2015 has rattled off some of the best (and occasionally awkward) pregame speeches of all time. He didn't waste anytime with his new club as he delivered yet another impassioned speech, this time before a preseason game.
"Hey man, it ain't just about having fun man, remember the time you had your best football game of your life, remember the time after that victory you went to Cicis Pizza with the boys," Winston voiced to a fired up Browns squad. "For real, feel it in your hearts. It's a long way back to Cleveland, let's not leave here without a victory. So put everything you've got on the line today and let's have a game you remember."

Hoo boy! I'd run through a wall at the thought of Cici's Pizza, but apparently a Winston speech of that caliber can only take a team so far. The Dawg Pound fell short to Seattle, 37-33. Winston, who got the start, finished 6/9 for 63 yards.
While the result won't be one we (or the players) remember, we certainly won't forget that Cici's speech. This joins the likes of his all-time great monologues, which includes the "Eat a W" rant and his epic postgame speech following Florida State's title win.
It turns out that no matter the scenario - a scrimmage or a game where it's all on the line - Winston is never one to shy away from drumming up a speech for the ages.
When it comes to on the field, though, Winston is expected to enter his first season in Cleveland as the backup to Deshaun Watson. Behind him are two more competent backups in Tyler Huntley and Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
Cleveland marks the third stop for Winston since entering the league. He spent his first five years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
