Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens delivered a big play against the rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon, but his celebration fell a bit flat.

Owens recovered a Jayden Reed fumble during the first quarter of Sunday's game at Lambeau Field. He celebrated by running to the wall and attempting the iconic Lambeau Leap in front of some Bears fans. He did not make it to the top of the wall before falling back to the ground.
A failed Lambeau Leap is nothing out of the ordinary. What made this significant is that Owens is married to Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history. This is something the broadcast team highlighted while watching the replay.
"Jonathan Owens.. who's married to one of the great leapers of all time in @Simone_Biles. Who had to be shaking her head when she saw that."

"The former Packer, who's married to one of the great leapers of all time in Simone Biles, who had to be shaking her head when she saw that," Kevin Kugler said while laughing.
The fans enjoyed the moment as well. One, in particular, said that the phrase "opposites attract" has never been truer. Others asked if Biles could coach Owens on the art of leaping.
The veteran defensive back is a familiar name to NFC North fans. He spent this season in Chicago while appearing in every game, and he spent the 2023 season in Green Bay. Owens started 11 games for the Packers while registering 84 total tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and three passes defensed.
Prior to joining the Packers, Owens spent four seasons with the Texans. He had limited snaps in 2019-21, but he became a 17-game starter in 2022. He delivered 125 combined tackles, one sack, and four passes defensed during his final season in the AFC South.
Biles has been a steadfast supporter of Owens during their time as a couple. She has attended numerous NFL games in Houston, Green Bay, Chicago, and several other cities while showing support for the defensive back. She just also happened to witness this attempted Lambeau Leap.
