Mike Vrabel is heading back to Tennessee this weekend, but he's keeping his focus on the game, not the nostalgia.

The Patriots head coach will face the Titans, the team he led from 2018 to 2023, when New England visits Nashville on Sunday. Vrabel knows it's a storyline, but he isn't interested in making it one.
"There is going to be, probably, a lot to be said about this," Vrabe told reporters, via Pro Football Talk. "I think it would be filed under the category of, is it interesting or important? I would probably say this would be very interesting, but in the end not very important to our preparation or what we need to continue to try to do to improve as a team."
Still, Vrabel acknowledged it will be nice to see familiar faces.
"Having spent six or seven years there, I think it will be nice to see some people I haven't seen in a few years that helped us win, players and staff," he said.
Vrabel went 54-45 in six seasons with the Titans, making the playoffs three times and reaching the AFC Championship Game in 2019. He was fired after a 6-11 finish last year, a move that looks worse by the week.
Tennessee replaced him with Brian Callahan, who was fired earlier this week after just six games. Interim coach Mike McCoy will lead the Titans against the man they probably wish they'd kept.
