A Washington Commanders fan has received a ban from Northwest Stadium after he attempted to rush the field during last weekend's NFL game.

The fan, wearing a white Jayden Daniels jersey, jumped down onto the Detroit Lions sideline and attempted to sprint toward the field. He lost a shoe after two steps and then two security guards went to tackle him.
One of the security guards completed the takedown while the other landed flat on his back after having his legs taken out from under him. They then dragged the fan off of the field as he attempted to put his shoe back on his foot.

The angle of the video made it appear that the fan jumped onto the field after a conversation with Lions long snapper Hogan Hatten. However, Hatten denied this with a post on his Instagram Stories.
"The video going around suggesting I was arguing with a Commanders fan before he rushed the field is inaccurate," Hatten wrote.
"I did not speak to that person at all during the game. I struck up a fun conversation with a young fan, who you can't see sitting in the front of him in the first row, and ended up giving him a ball after the game!"
The battle between the Commanders and Lions did not have much intrigue; the Lions easily won by a score of 44-22. However, the stadium had multiple other surprising moments occurring in other areas, starting with Air Force One doing a low flyover.

The day continued with President Donald Trump leading an enlistment ceremony from a suite as multiple people agreed to join the United States military.
The president then headed to the Fox Sports booth in the third quarter, where he spent several minutes talking to play-by-play man Kenny Albert and analyst Jonathan Vilma. President Trump discussed numerous topics, including his football background, Joe Namath, Drew Brees, and how the Commanders desperately needed to score a touchdown.
