Just as in many recent seasons, the NFL will have three games on Thursday. Two of these games will feature the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys, continuing a decades-long tradition. The third game will feature representatives from the AFC North, as well as the return of one important player.
Here's everything you need to know about the Thanksgiving slate, including which channels will broadcast the action.
Thanksgiving game No. 1: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
Time: 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT
Channel: Fox
Broadcast team: Fox will send its No. 1 team to Ford Field for this NFC North battle. Kevin Burkhardt will provide play-by-play while Tom Brady serves as an analyst. The sideline reporters will be Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi.
What's at stake: The Packers and Lions play in the same division, so plenty is at stake for both of these teams. The 7-3-1 Packers are second in the division behind the 8-3 Bears. A win would keep the Packers in contention for the division crown.
The same goes for the Lions, who enter Thanksgiving at 7-4 and third place in the division. The Lions have beaten the Bears once this season but have also lost to the Packers and Vikings. Another loss would take Detroit further out of contention for the NFC North title and would hurt it in tiebreaker situations.
Thanksgiving game No. 2: Kansas City Chiefs at Dallas Cowboys
Time: 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT
Channel: CBS/Paramount+
Broadcast team: CBS will send its No. 1 team to AT&T Stadium for this battle. Jim Nantz will provide play-by-play while former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo joins as an analyst. Tracy Wolfson will serve as the sideline reporter for CBS Sports.
What's at stake: The 5-5-1 Cowboys finally hit .500 on the season after a last-second win over the rival Eagles (8-3) last weekend. Dallas still has considerable work to do to reach the playoffs, but a win over the Chiefs would be a step in the right direction.
The 6-5 Chiefs have a winning record, but they are in danger of missing the playoffs. The Chiefs are third in the AFC West behind the 9-2 Broncos and 7-4 Chargers. They are 10th in the AFC standings. A win would help the perennial Super Bowl contenders get back on track.
Thanksgiving game No. 3: Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens
Time: 8:20 p.m. ET/5:20 p.m. PT
Channel: NBC/Peacock
Broadcast team: NBC will send a slightly different team to Baltimore for this AFC North game. Mike Tirico will provide play-by-play while Jason Garrett will serve as an analyst. Melissa Stark will serve as the sideline reporter while Terry McAulay serves as the rules analyst.
Peacock will also air the Thursday night game, albeit with a twist. The streaming service will have the "EA Sports Madden NFL Cast," which blends video game elements with the live NFL action.
What's at stake: These two AFC North teams enter Thanksgiving with wildly different records, but both teams have something to play for. The 3-8 Bengals have the slightest of chances to make the playoffs as Joe Burrow returns to action after a toe injury sidelined him for two months. The Bengals just have to win the rest of their games to have a shot.
The 6-5 Ravens, however, are in the division lead. They have the same record as the rival Steelers but hold the tiebreaker. The Ravens need to win to remain in first place.
