According to a Monday announcement, two teams will play at Stade de France in Paris, France. This is the country's national stadium. The New Orleans Saints will make the trip for the historic matchup.

The NFL did not provide details about the other team making the trip or when this event will take place. However, French outlet RMC Sport has reported that the game will pit the New Orleans Saints against the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 25.

The Browns and the NFL have not confirmed this report as of Monday afternoon.

"Bringing a regular season game to Paris in 2026 marks an exciting next step in the continued expansion of the league's global footprint," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in a release.

"Paris is one of the world's greatest sporting and cultural cities with tremendous success in hosting global events that unite fans on the biggest stages. Playing our first-ever regular season game at the impressive Stade de France, together with the New Orleans Saints, underlines our continued global growth ambitions and we look forward to bringing the NFL to our passionate fans in France."

The Stade de France has hosted countless high-profile events since its construction in 1998. This facility has been the home to the FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, and UEFA Champions League Finals. It has also hosted the UEFA European Championship Finals and events for the 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games.

The NFL now has eight games on the International slate for the 2026 season. The list also includes a return to Madrid as part of a multi-year deal, three games in London, United Kingdom; one game in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; one game in Munich, Germany; and one game in Melbourne, Australia.
