The National Football League isn't wasting any time as the league celebrates its 100th season of play in 2019. The NFL 100 commercial during Super Bowl LIII officially launched the campaign with one of the coolest advertisements the league has ever unveiled. There will be incredible fan experiences and contests held throughout the year, but they pale in comparison to what the league is rolling out next.
From March 14 until the event closes April 7, fans can enter a one-of-a-kind contest called "Tickets for 100 Years." The contest's grand prize is a pair of season tickets for the winner's team of choice over the next century. Basically, you can enter to win the ultimate NFL lottery.
Two tickets to your favorite team's games isn't the only thing on the line. Those tickets can be passed down to your future generations, plus you'll get an NFL Shop lifetime discount to the league's online store and exclusive team experiences throughout the year.
All you have to do is prove that YOU are your favorite team's biggest fan and create a unique Twitter or Instagram post, then tag @NFL and #NFL100Contest on your social media post. There's no entry fee, and best of all, there's no catch.
Heck, even if you're one of the people who still hate the NFL, enter to win and sell every single ticket you get for the next 100 years!
"The NFL was built on multi-generational fandom that bonds people together. Giving someone a century's worth of NFL season tickets may be the single greatest sports prize ever offered to a fan. It represents 100 years filled with incredible memories to share with the people who matter most. This is the first of a fan-focused series that speaks to the spirit of the 'Fantennial' celebration at the heart of our centennial year."
— NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell
If you're one of three finalists, you'll be flown to Nashville, Tennessee where the contest winner will be announced live during the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Get creative. Get crazy. Bring out all the stops. If you don't, then you'll be watching me claiming my prize as a finalist because this once-in-a-lifetime contest is too incredible to miss.
