The Lineman Screen Pass Is 315 Pounds of Pure Trickery

You don't see this everyday.

Tennessee Titans Left tackle Taylor Lewan is typically blocking for touchdowns, not scoring them.

But during the Tennessee Titans tilt with the Indianapolis Colts back in 2016, Marcus Mariota and Co. used some trickeration, faking the handoff, then checking down to Lewan, who strolled into the end zone. It's not often we see a screen pass to a 315-pounder.

Lewan became an eligible receiver because the wide receiver next to him is off the line of scrimmage. It's a beautifully designed play mostly because it involves a big man receiving a catch and finishing in the end zone.

Every NFL coach in the league needs to add this one to the playbook instantly.
