Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged, which means the internet is on fire and every Chiefs fan just became an honorary Swiftie. Naturally, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany wasted no time chiming in.

Brittany took to Instagram with some Hallmark-worthy praise, writing, "Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two." Translation: she's thrilled her luxury suite buddy is now officially family.
Patrick? He didn't bother with words. He just reposted the engagement pics and dropped three heart emojis, which is quarterback-speak for "Congrats, bro. Please don't tell me I have to help plan the wedding," Mahomes wrote.
Swift and Brittany have been spotted side by side at Chiefs games more times than the broadcast cameras can count, though there was some drama last season when they were sitting in separate suites. That fueled rumors of a "friendship breakup," but the two quickly squashed it with a joint girls' night at another sporting event.
The Mahomeses know a thing or two about big-time love stories. They've been together since high school, tied the knot in 2022, and are now wrangling three kids while also trying to keep Travis and Taylor's romance from completely hijacking Kansas City football. Spoiler: it already has.
The Chiefs open the season against the Chargers in Brazil on Sept. 6. No word on if Swift will be in the house.
