Rob Gronkowski believes he will play in the Super Bowl on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Gronk is currently in the concussion protocol after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Jacksonville Jaguars safety Barry Church in the AFC Championship Game, but he told ESPN's Josina Anderson that he hopes to be cleared on Wednesday. He also said he intends to play on Sunday.
#Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski just said he hopes to be cleared out of the concussion protocol tomorrow. When I asked him if he thinks he will play on Sunday, he told me “yes.”

Church was fined nearly $25,000 for the hit. The Pats still came back and won the game, and they will be going for their sixth Super Bowl in franchise history on Sunday.
Gronkowski missed the Super Bowl last season due to injury, but Brady should have his favorite target against the Eagles.
