It might not feel like it to Miami Dolphins fans, but there's a market for Tua Tagovailoa.

With the Dolphins expected to move on from their $212 million quarterback, league buzz is already picking up. And two NFC teams are being mentioned early.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, one unnamed coach said, "Watch out for Tua in Atlanta." The Falcons are expected to release Kirk Cousins and could be reshuffling the entire quarterback room.
Minnesota is also lurking.
The Vikings are reportedly monitoring the situation after an uneven year from J.J. McCarthy, who threw 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in his first season as the starter. Competition would not be the worst idea.
Meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa is coming off a rough 2025. He was benched late in the year for rookie Quinn Ewers, and now his future is front and center. His contract is the real complication. Tua carries a $56.2 million cap hit in 2026, and cutting him would trigger a jaw-dropping $99.2 million dead cap charge.
That is not pocket change.
New Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan said at the combine that "everything is on the table, including the potential of a trade."
Translation: Miami would much rather move him than cut him.
Free agency opens March 11. The quarterback carousel is about to spin. And somehow, Tua is right in the middle of it again.
