Major WWE plans apparently revealed by current UFC champion

For now, it seems Cyborg will have to wait her turn.

Despite her public feud with Becky Lynch on Twitter, Cris Cyborg apparently won't be appearing in a match at SummerSlam.

Instead, the current UFC women's bantamweight champion broke a bit of news of her own on Twitter while denying the match was happening:

Former UFC fighter and current WWE Mae Young Classic competitor Shayna Baszler is a member of the "Four Horsewomen," which leaves Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke as the other three who have yet to wrestle in a WWE ring.

This bit of news from Cyborg comes on the heels of rumors emerging that Rousey is legit interested in joining WWE and has been referred to Brian Kendrick's wrestling school in California.

Rousey and company attended WWE's recent taping of the Mae Young Classic last month at Full Sail University in support of friend, Baszler, who made the transition from MMA to professional wrestling in 2015.

After the match, the MMA fighters were filmed interacting with WWE's "Four Horsewomen" members Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Bayley, which added to the speculation that the former UFC Champion would eventually work an angle with the group.

Last week, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who is currently working on a limited schedule with the company, told TMZ on Tuesday that Rousey's transition to professional wrestling is "inevitable".

"It's just a matter of time before Ronda Rousey officially signs with Vince McMahon — so says WWE legend, Jim Ross, who says it's a "match made in heaven," Ross said. "Oh, she's gonna be a big star," the WWE Hall of Famer told us at LAX ... "It's inevitable. I see her in a WrestleManiasomeday. It's too great an opportunity for her to pass up and WWE to pass up ... it's a match made in heaven."

Rousey, a lifelong wrestling fan, has worked with the company in the past, including an in-ring segment with The Rock, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31.

For now, it seems Cyborg will have to wait her turn.
