File this one under the "wrestling can be weird" column.
Reports were several weeks ago that WWE star Enzo Amore was kicked off a tour bus by his fellow wrestlers — notably locker room leader Roman Reigns — and that Amore had heat with the rest of the locker room.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer shed more light on the situation recently, saying that Amore is unpopular backstage because he acts exactly like he does on screen: talkative, loud, and saying more than he probably should.
More the most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer:
The incident in question we were told that broke the camel's back and this happened some time back, was [Amore] talking very loudly on his phone to someone and saying things that those who couldn't help but hear him thought were negative about the business while bragging about how much money he was making from the business to that person.
To make matters worse for Amore, he is left in a weird spot right now after WWE broke up his tag team with Big Cass. Amore is very popular with the fans, and he has been able to sell a lot of merchandise; when they broke up, the Enzo & Cass tag team had more merch items on WWE Shop than anyone else.
Amore will be able to stick around thanks to his talking ability connecting with the fans, but if he is really that unpopular backstage... then it's a good guess that few people will be willing to help him out in the future.
