Hulk Hogan isn't sure whether he'd decide to make a comeback to WWE.
During an interview on FOX News' OBJECTified, Hogan said "I don't know" when asked if he would make a return to the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.
That seems hard to believe. If all is forgotten, it would seem there would be no doubt that Hogan would make a return to WWE if asked, especially if there's an opportunity to repair his image.
Hogan had his contract ended with WWE in 2015 after it was revealed that he used a racial slur repeatedly on his controversial leaked sex tape.
The former WWE Champion has not appeared on WWE television since, although WWE COO Paul "Triple H" Levesque previously stated that the company could be "open" to bringing Hogan back at some point in the future.
If nothing else, Hogan's appearance on OBJECTified seems like an attempt to restore his tarnished legacy. He also added that he's made changes to his life and apologized directly to the black community.
"I tried to clean up my whole life. I made a whole switch, almost a shift from being negative... I moved forward so I'm in check with myself.
As far as the black community and using that word, it's not part of who I am now. It's not part of my language because I understand how powerful words are."
Perhaps things will change if WWE reaches out to the former world champion.
