Bowman Gray Stadium, the host track for the last two Clash races, is holding a special event to honor Kyle Busch after his sudden passing on May 21.

According to a press release, the historic short track in Winston-Salem will host the Kyle Busch Invitational on Friday, Aug. 21. This event will honor the two-time Cup Series champion's life and legacy while showcasing multiple motorsports series.
Competitors will take place in the Kyle Busch Invitational while driving Legends and Bandoleros. FloSports and the NASCAR Channel will air the races as these drivers compete at Bowman Gray Stadium.
The Kyle Busch Invitational will also donate all proceeds to the Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund.

According to the release, any driver that is top five in the 2026 Summer Shootout final point standings in Pro, Semi-Pro, Masters, and Young Lions divisions will earn an automatic bid for the Kyle Busch Invitational.
Additionally, any driver from these divisions who earns an A-Main Feature victory in the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway will earn an automatic bid even if they are not top five in the standings.
"The Legend Car played an important role in Kyle's development on his path to becoming one of the greatest race car drivers of his generation," said G.E. Chapman, Vice President of U.S. Legend Cars International and the INEX Racing Series.
"To celebrate Kyle's life and legacy with a Legend Car and Bandolero event at Bowman Gray Stadium, while also recognizing the incredible impact he and Samantha have made through The Bundle of Joy Fund, is a tremendous honor.
"We're proud to be part of an event that celebrates both his accomplishments in motorsports and the lasting difference he continues to make off the race track."
The schedule of racing will begin at 2 p.m. on Aug. 21. Drivers will take part in practice and qualifying until 4:30 p.m. The Legends Car drivers will then take part in five, 10-lap heat races at 5 p.m. The two 15-lap Legends Car B-Main races will follow at 6:45 p.m.
The Bandolero and Legends Car feature races will then close out the night of action at Bowman Gray Stadium. These races will start at 7:30 p.m.
