Ryan Blaney qualified second with a lap of 29.329 seconds. This is the second consecutive season that Blaney has started on the front row for a New Hampshire race.
"This was like I just got out of the car and I'm still shaking," Logano said about the emotion of this pole win. "I haven't calmed down yet.
"And the other piece of it, like I said it's New Hampshire, but the fans cheer for me (laughter). It's freaking cool. That doesn't happen everywhere. It's like just here, so I love that. It's a little bit more exciting when you're able to win the pole when the whole grandstand is happy for you."
The rest of the top 10 included Josh Berry (29.354), Tyler Reddick (29.356), William Byron (29.373), Carson Hocevar (29.398), Alex Bowman (29.402), Ross Chastain (29.405), Denny Hamlin (29.409), and Shane van Gisbergen (29.409).
The other playoff drivers in the field include Bubba Wallace in 14th (29.485), Kyle Larson in 16th (29.496), Chase Briscoe in 18th (29.511), Christopher Bell in 19th (29.527), Austin Cindric in 22nd (29.592), and Chase Elliott in 27th (29.659).
"That was pretty terrible, actually," Cindric said about his qualifying effort. "It's a track position racetrack and it's frustrating to not quite get a good enough lap to set us up well for points.
"We kind of needed to maximize every stage of the game here and we've been behind compared to the competition."
The Mobil 1 301 will take place at 2 p.m. ET. USA Network will provide coverage as the Round of 12 of the playoffs officially begins.
