A lot of people's minds have focused on arguably the biggest story in sports right now—the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift relationship. That includes NASCAR's Denny Hamlin who has his own thoughts on the couple.
Kelce and Swift have taken social media by storm, as Swift stopped into Arrowhead Stadium this past weekend to watch Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Chicago Bears, further pushing the excitement about a relationship between the two.
Many believe the two are an item, meanwhile, Hamlin isn't buying it. He questioned the suddenness of how this all came together and talked about it on a new episode of the podcast "Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin."
"It does seem weird," Hamlin said. "Like, the relationship all of sudden is like, zero to one hundred. I thought this was just, 'Hey, I hit her up in the DMs. She hit me back,' then next thing you know, they hung out somewhere. Now all of a sudden, she's hanging out with the mom. ...It seems very showy. It does. ...She's had a rough go at it, but it seems like she loves love, so she gets really involved quickly. So maybe that scares the guys off. 'Woah, this chick is like, all in right from the get-go.' But I wonder the same thing about Jennifer Aniston."
Hamlin then went on about how he doesn't understand how such sought-after actresses or singers, can't hold down a relationship. Sounds like Hamlin might be a Swiftie. So be careful Kelce, you don't want to get on the bad side of NASCAR's latest super villain.
Whatever the case, social media is buzzing. We will have to see if the Swift-Kelce fling will last, or if Hamlin is right about something once again.
