Frankie Muniz continued his pursuit of a championship on Saturday as he and his co-driver scored another win in their Ford Mustang.

Muniz, who skipped the Craftsman Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway, celebrated at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama. He and Tyler Stone secured the AM Class win in the second GT4 America race.
Muniz is the one who delivered the win. He made the pass for the class lead against BimmerWorld with just over five minutes remaining in the race. He continued to lead at the road course, and he secured TechSport Racing's third win of the season.
Muniz and Stone previously swept the races at Road America to move into second in the AM Class championship standings.

This marked a major turnaround for Muniz, in particular, after issues in the first race at Barber Motorsports Park. As he went to attempt a pass on Laura Hayes in the Dome Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4, the two cars made contact.
This significantly damaged Muniz's No. 30 Ford Mustang GT4 and forced him to retire from the race.
"It's so hard to pass here, and I was just trying to set it up," Muniz said after the win. "Yesterday I tried to make a move for the lead and it didn't go to plan, but I learned from that. You have to be aggressive and go when you can. I made the move today, it worked, and we held on for the win.
"Tyler did such an amazing job to start the race. For TechSport to come back from a last-place finish yesterday to a first-place finish today is incredible. We're still in the hunt for the championship, so this is awesome."
TechSport Racing entered Barber Motorsports Park sitting 14 points behind BimmerWorld in the AM Class championship standings. Scoring another win will keep the team in contention heading into the final rounds of the season, which take place at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Oct. 8-11.
