Kevin Harvick Buys "Talladega Nights" Mansion in North Carolina

Who had "Purchased a Mansion" on the bingo card for one of Kevin Harvick's first acts after his NASCAR Cup Series retirement?

Probably not too many, but it seems that Harvick wants to live his best Ricky Bobby life.

The 2014 Cup Series Champion and now-retired driver has purchased the mansion used in the 2006 movie "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby."

His former teammates, Ryan Preece and Chase Briscoe, recently drove Talladega Nights-themed cars at Talladega, but it will be Harvick who will get to live the life of luxury like Ricky Bobby.

As reported by Jenna Martin from the Charlotte Business Journal, Harvick purchased the mansion on Lake Norman in Cornelius, North Carolina, for $6.75 million.

Now, if he can only avoid encountering any ghosts, as Cal Naighton Jr. (John C. Reilly) claimed were present in the house in the movie.

Having a potential ghost or two in the house is nothing Harvick has to worry about now because he's clearly already enjoying his retirement. The house is a perfect place to relax, and it is a cool story that he and his family can enjoy and share with others.

It's time for a little "Shake and Bake" for the Harvick family. Thanksgiving is coming up, and their first big meal in their new house could feature some of his former sponsors.

Maybe they can get some Hunt Brothers Pizza to recreate the famous Thanksgiving scene from the movie.
