DiBenedetto posted the update on Instagram. He uploaded a photo showing an ultrasound photo, a onesie, and other assorted baby clothing items. The photo also included a sign that said, "Baby DiBenedetto. Feb. 2027."
The veteran driver and property developer also posted on his Instagram Stories and confirmed that while some things in his life will change after the child arrives, others will remain the same.
DiBenedetto posted a photo showing Taylor's blue Toyota TRD Pro 4Runner in a parking lot. He added a fitting caption for those who are familiar with his car obsession.
"Our family vehicle with baby DiBurrito on the way," DiBenedetto wrote. "And no, I'm not selling my Corvettes."
The Corvettes reference the assortment of sports cars owned by the DiBenedetto family. This includes a brand new C8 ZO6 Corvette that he and Taylor acquired in early July, a C6 Corvette that he has owned since 2012, and a C7 Corvette.
This update about the child comes at a unique time for DiBenedetto, a man who made 418 starts across the three national NASCAR series. He hasn't competed in a race this season in any of NASCAR's three levels, primarily due to the lack of sponsorship.
But he has focused on another project close to his heart — property development.
As DiBenedetto showed in a May 1 video on Instagram, he is currently deep into the creation of a subdivision in North Carolina. This 11-acre property will feature 19 "spec homes" that will become available for purchase.
These homes in Catawba County will be single-level with two-car garages and covered rear patios. DiBenedetto said that they will be affordable homes that still feel custom and nice. He said that the subdivision will be called "Green Flag Estates" to match with the racing theme.
This project is in the works, but it remains a ways off. For now, DiBenedetto and Taylor will prepare for the upcoming birth of their first child.
