The NASCAR Hall of Fame has announced plans for a display honoring Kyle Busch, who passed away on May 21 at the age of 41.

According to a press release, the NASCAR Hall of Fame has created an exhibit, "Kyle Busch: Honoring A Legacy." This will be a limited-time exhibit that opens on Oct. 9 and features numerous items from the two-time Cup Series champion's career.
The exact details of the exhibit remain under wraps until it officially opens in early October. However, certain pieces of information are available, such as the presence of Busch's No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry from the 2015 season.
This stock car is the one that Busch used to win his first championship after returning from a significant leg injury that sidelined him for 11 races.
The exhibits will also include "stories highlighting his career achievements and his role as a mentor who helped develop and launch the careers of future NASCAR stars through Kyle Busch Motorsports."
While no longer active, Kyle Busch Motorsports carved out a major role in the Craftsman Truck Series for several years. This organization's drivers combined to win 100 races and two driver's championships.
The list of race winners who raced under the Kyle Busch Motorsports banner included Christopher Bell, Erik Jones, John Hunter Nemechek, Chandler Smith, Bubba Wallace, William Byron, Daniel Suarez, Noah Gragson, Corey Heim, and Todd Gilliland.
Busch, who won dozens of races for his own team, also provided a seat for NASCAR veterans looking to have some fun in a lower series. This group of winners featured Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr., Brandon Jones, Greg Biffle, and Kasey Kahne.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame has swapped out its exhibits numerous times over the years while putting unique vehicles and pieces of memorabilia on display.
The current lineup of exhibits currently includes those focused on the Earnhardt family, Martin Truex Jr., Darlington Raceway's 75th anniversary, Ford Performance, and Team Penske's 60th anniversary.
The Glory Road exhibit, which will be on display for three years, highlights 18 team owners and their contributions to the sport of stock car racing.
