A historic NASCAR weekend will take place in Southern California as all three national series will head to Naval Base Coronado. It is time for the San Diego street races.

All three national series will be in action at this purpose-built course, one that incorporates sections of the Naval Base.
The Craftsman Truck Series teams will race on Friday, which is a military appreciation day. The O'Reilly Auto Parts Series teams will then race on Saturday. The Cup Series teams will cap off the weekend with a Sunday afternoon race.
This weekend will feature some extra time on the tarmac for the Truck Series drivers. They will have two separate practice sessions on Friday.

Friday forecast: The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for ideal racing weather. The temperature will be in the low 70s throughout the day with only a 5% chance of rain.
Saturday forecast: The forecast calls for another day of sunny skies and warm temperatures. The O'Reilly Auto Parts Series drivers will race around as the temperature sits in the low 70s. Once again, the forecast calls for only a 5% chance of rain.
Sunday forecast: The forecast calls for some cloudy skies in the morning. However, these clouds will go away in the afternoon. The temperatures will be in the low 70s.
