She has thanked everyone for the outpouring of love and support as the entire family has dealt with this tragedy.

"As a family, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you," Samantha wrote on her social media pages on Friday, June 5.

"The prayers, messages, flowers, meals, hugs, and countless acts of kindness have carried us through the most heartbreaking days of our lives. While our hearts are absolutely shattered, we have felt God's presence and arms wrapped tightly around us through each and every one of you.

"The love that has surrounded our family during this unimaginable time has brought comfort in the middle of so much pain. Knowing the impact Kyle had on others and seeing how they are honoring him through each unique act of generosity is a true testament to how special Kyle is to so many people. There are moments when the weight of this loss feels impossible to carry, yet time and time again God, through you all, has shown us we are not alone.

"From family and friends to fans and complete strangers, thank you for showing up for us. Thank you for loving our family so well. Thank you for loving Kyle. Thank you for honoring him.

"We may never find the words to fully express what your support has meant to us, but please know that we are deeply grateful. (Heart emoji) Samantha, Brexton & Lennix."

The entire racing industry has responded with support for the Busch family after the two-time Cup Series champion passed away due to severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis. This is not solely in NASCAR either. NHRA and NTT IndyCar Series teams are only some examples of those who have honored Busch's memory with tribute decals and other gestures.

Samantha has seen these both from afar and firsthand, especially before the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. She and her children took part in a ceremony honoring Busch only three days after he passed away.

It was during this ceremony that NASCAR CEO Steve O'Donnell delivered a message to the family. The Cup Series drivers then went out on the track and did a missing man formation in which they left a spot at the front of the track for Busch.

"Samantha, I want you to know that this sport stands with you," O'Donnell said. "Brexton and Lennix, your dad loves you with all his heart."
