According to a Thursday announcement, Tanner Gray and Gio Ruggiero both signed extensions to remain with the team. Gray, who has been with Tricon Garage since the beginning, will continue to drive the No. 15 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro after posting three top-five finishes and six top-10s last season.
Ruggiero will return to the Tricon lineup after a standout rookie campaign. He started 25 races last season while driving the No. 17 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, and he posted seven top-five finishes, 11 top-10s, and two starts from the pole position. Ruggiero also scored his first career win at Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 17 after leading 37 of the 90 laps.
The announcement did not provide any further details about sponsors or crew chiefs. These details will come at a later date as the organization sets out in pursuit of its second consecutive Truck Series championship.
Tricon Garage previously announced that championship-winning crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz had joined the competition department but did not provide information about his role.
Gray and Ruggiero will remain familiar faces at the Mooresville, NC, shop. However, a newcomer will join the lineup to take over the No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.
Tricon Garage announced on Dec. 5 that championship contender Kaden Honeycutt would join the team full-time in 2026 as reigning champion Corey Heim stepped away from a full Truck Series schedule.
This past announcement included some details about the No. 11 team. Tricon Garage noted that veteran crew chief Scott Zipadelli would remain atop the pit box for this championship group while welcoming Honeycutt into the lineup.
"I've waited my entire career for an opportunity like this," Honeycutt said in a press release. "I can't thank Toyota and Tricon enough for trusting me to carry the torch for the No. 11 Safelite Tundra and continue its incredible run of success.
"I'm truly honored and fired up to chase a championship with this team in 2026."
