The Tricon Garage lineup will have a change to kick off the 2026 Craftsman Truck Series season. The team will move forward this weekend without championship-winning crew chief Scott Zipadelli.

"Due to injury, Scott Zipadelli, crew chief of the No. 11 Safelite Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, will be unable to travel to Daytona for the season opening event," Tricon Garage said in a Wednesday morning statement.
"David Stewart, engineer, will serve as interim crew chief in his absence."
Stewart is no stranger to the No. 11 team at the championship-winning organization. He has worked under Zipadelli while celebrating numerous Truck Series wins with driver Corey Heim.
Now, he will take on the role of interim crew chief to kick off what will be a season of change for the No. 11 team. This group will move forward and try to defend its championship. However, a new driver will take over the entry.
As previously announced, Kaden Honeycutt will move to Tricon Garage on a full-time basis. He will drive the No. 11 Safelite Toyota Tundra TRD Pro after a 2025 season in which he drove for three different organizations — Niece Motorsports, Young's Motorsports, and Halmar Friesen Racing.
The reshuffled No. 11 team will have multiple opportunities to prepare for the season-opening race as the trip to Daytona International Speedway is unlike any other superspeedway event on the NASCAR schedule.
This race weekend features a practice session on Thursday, Feb. 12 (5 p.m. ET on FS1). Superspeedway events do not feature practice sessions for any of the three series, but the February trip to Daytona is special. It's the first event after a long offseason.
The Truck Series teams will then return to the track on Friday, Feb. 13, for multiple on-track sessions. They will take part in qualifying at 3 p.m. ET (FS1). They will then kick off the season with the Friday night race (7:30 p.m. ET on FS1).
