AUSTIN, Texas — Tyler Reddick has accomplished something that no other driver in NASCAR history has done. He has won three consecutive races to start a season.

The driver of the No. 45 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing kicked off the streak by winning the Daytona 500. He then won the following weekend at EchoPark Speedway. He avoided calamity at two treacherous tracks, and he put himself in position to win when it mattered.
He then kicked off the month of March with a dominant effort. Reddick won the pole at Circuit of the Americas and proceeded to lead a race-high 58 laps. He held off Shane van Gisbergen, the driver going for his sixth consecutive road course win.

"It's unbelievable," team owner Denny Hamlin said after the win. "I'm not going to see it again in my lifetime. Someone go out there and win three races in a row to start the season. And I mean, yeah, what a dream start for those guys."
This was not a simple cruise to victory lane. Reddick had to perform at the highest level to hold off van Gisbergen in the final run to the checkered flag.
He had to hit every corner perfectly, avoid the tire packs placed throughout the course, and manage his tires. He checked off all these items on the to-do list, and he kept the Trackhouse Racing driver behind him.
"His car was really, really good," van Gisbergen told FanBuzz after the race. "He was just making no mistakes, you know. When I got to him, I could tell he was driving straight, and he had a bit left in reserve. Made it difficult."
He crossed the finish line first at the same track where he scored his first win for 23XI Racing back in 2023. He made history, and he increased his already massive lead in the Cup Series standings. He is now 70 points ahead of teammate Bubba Wallace, who is second.
"It means the world," Reddick said about his historic win. "Yeah, it's so fitting. We get going at the end there and I'm leading and there's SVG, the guy I've been trying to beat for a while now. Just to be able to out last him there and hold on for the win is just incredible.
"Just really proud of this Chumba Casino Toyota Camry, everyone at 23XI. We worked really hard. We did not like getting beat like that at road courses. It's one race, but it was so important, so fitting that we were able to get three in a row and make history."
